Midnight Madness
Formerly known as the One Acts, Midnight Madness is
a collection of short plays and sketches that are presented every year around mid
April. These sketches are completely student directed and are basically put on for
fun. There is no real set preparation involved, only props. However these props can
be used in more ways than you think.
After the One Acts
festival ends, select actors put on what is called an improv competition, and only
the funniest may compete. Improv, in case you don't know, is short for improvization.
This segment of the One Acts might seem a lot like the hit comedy show, Whose Line
is it, Anyway?. In this part, audience participation is much encouraged.
