National Honor Society Programs & Activities 2007-2008
Mentoring (on-going)
35 ninth-graders are paired with NHS members

mentors offer social and academic guidance

mentors and mentees meet at least once a week

mentors attend training and reflection sessions for support

planned activities the year include

- September: Kick-Off Lunch
- November: Goal-Setting Meeting

- January: Goal-Setting/Reflection Lunch

Tutoring (on-going)

regular drop-in tutoring offered in math, science, foreign language during lunch

general tutoring available for special education students during lunch
