  • 3.7.1a    Cite evidence to explain the cell theory (basic unit of life, cells function like an organism, cells from cells) in living organisms (i.e., single-celled and multi-cellular).
  • 3.7.1b    Identify and describe the structures and roles of parts of animal cells (i.e., cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm, mitochondria, vacuoles) and plant cells (i.e. cell wall, chloroplast, vacuoles).
