Pine Crest students participated in the International Day of Peace on Monday September 21, 2009. Art Teachers, Mrs. Meyer and Ms. Faust, worked with students to create pinwheels that visually depicted their ideas about peace. The pinwheels were “planted” in the shape of a peace sign on the front lawn of the school. Classes visited the “Garden of Peace” while peace inspired music played in the background.
