Science Department
Parkland Magnet Middle School has a one-of-a-kind science focus. Through the lens
of Aerospace Technology, our students are exposed to the real-world applications of
many exciting fields of study! All of our students take two science courses every
year, and are therefore ready to take a high school level science course during their
eighth grade year. We also offer many science-oriented elective courses, such as
Flight, Robotics, and Astronomy, to give our students even greater depth into the
