Standards for this course target the mastery of fundamental operations and concepts of
computers, word processing, presentation software and academic research techniques.
This course will help students build a strong knowledge base and better prepare students
for basic use of computers in their core content classes, personal computing needs
and skills associated with career development.In addition, this course will support the objectives of Parkland’s Aerospace Magnet Program through research and investigation of applications related to aerospace.
