Branch Community,
This fall athletic season is the last in our stadium due to the construction of the new Paint Branch. To celebrate 40 years of memories and PB athletics, we would like to invite you to take part in our PB40 celebration!
Friday night, November 6, 2009 we will play the last regular season game in our stadium as our Varsity Football team takes on arch-rival Springbrook. Kick-off is at 6:30 pm. At the game, we will welcome back the 1969 Paint Branch football team - the first in the history of the school. 3 coaches and 30 players from the team will be in attendance. There will be a recognition ceremony for Head Coach Mike McNerney and the team at halftime and following the game.
After the game, there will be a fundraiser at Old Hickory Grill in Burtonsville - all are welcome to attend. The PB All-Sports Booster Club will receive 25% of the sales at the restaurant Friday night.
Here is some important information:
Please arrive early - before 5:30 pm - we are expecting an overflow crowd for the game
Tickets will be on sale at the school store during lunch Tuesday-Friday next week. It is highly recommended that you buy your ticket ahead of time. There will be a separate entrance for people who purchase a ticket in advance.
Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students, and $1.00 for children
Tees-To-Go will be making t-shirts, sweatshirts and other apparel at the game. Be prepared to purchase commemorative Spiritwear only available at Friday's game. You custom design your shirt or sweatshirt and it is made on the spot!
Senior night for football, poms, cheerleaders, and the marching band will occur before the game, beginning at 6:00 pm.
Please continue to pass the word on to all alumni and friends of Paint Branch!
We hope that the entire Paint Branch family can join us to celebrate 40 wonderful years of Paint Branch Athletics.
GO PANTHERS!
