Montgomery County Public Schools, Rockville, Maryland - Olney Elementary School

Boy working on Math homeworkHomework Club

Olney's Homework Club is designed to give students the opportunity to receive extra assistance with classroom homework assignments. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students may join the club based on teacher recommendations. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. in the all purpose room.

Mrs. Mary Jean Johnson, Mrs. Rose Meyers, and Ms. Lori Dodson are the coordinators of the Homework Club this year. Students from area middle and high schools earn service-learning hours working as tutors in this program. The club has been beneficial to all who are involved. We thank all the students, past and present, who have generously offered their time and assistance to make this program a success.
