Greetings Parents, Community and Staff,

I am Dr. Dorothea Fuller and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Olney Elementary.   I’m very excited to be back in elementary school and feel fortunate to be a part of the wonderful community of parents, staff and students here at OES! 

Many of you know that I had been the assistant principal at Sherwood High School for the last four years, but you may not know that I was also the Pupil Personnel Worker for Olney Elementary for fifteen years.  While serving in that role, I was able to personally observe the strong commitment to learning demonstrated by both staff and families.   I requested an assignment in an elementary school this year because I believed I could make a difference during the foundational years.  Finding out that my new assignment would be at Olney was like a dream coming true.  I know we can achieve great things for our children together.  I am looking forward to becoming a partner with you in your commitment to excellence.

My teaching experiences include all levels; Head Start, elementary, middle, and high school.   My MCPS career began as an elementary school counselor and I later became a Pupil Personnel Worker until my assistant principal assignment.
