Online Magazines and Newspapers

Magazines are periodicals containing a collection of articles, stories, pictures, or other features.
The media center currently subscribes to 10 titles for students. We also have past issues of other
magazines that you may check out.

for assignments and/or reading pleasure:

American Girl – Magazine fostering girls’ individuality, intellectual curiosity, and imagination.

National Geographic Kids – Interactive multi-topic magazine covering animals, entertainment, science, technology, current events, and cultures from around the world for ages 8-14.

Owl Kids – Discovery magazine for kids interested in nature, science, and the world around them.

Ranger Rick – Nature magazine for kids featuring amazing stories, fantastic photos and great games.

Sports Illustrated For Kids – Sports news, games, trivia, and more.

Time For Kids – News, information, and exploration for kids plus Homework Helper link, created by Time magazine.

Weekly Reader – Newspaper for children in elementary school.

Your Big Backyard – Great nature magazine for ages 3-7.

Zoobooks – Kid friendly site about animals containing interesting facts and great pictures.
