Volunteer Schedule

We require every student to have a volunteer to help at one meeting.  The new schedule for volunteers will be posted in November.  If you have 2 children in the club, we are asking that you volunteer twice, so that we have enough adults per child at each meeting. 

Last year I had a lot of parents that did not come on their assigned day. There will be a sign in sheet for parents.  If you do not sign in on your designated day your child will not be able to continue with the club.  I am sorry to be strict, but I did not have the help I needed last year.

Because we are such a large group this year, it is imperative that all the children behave well at the meetings.  If I feel that someone is not interested in playing chess or is being disruptive, I may ask that they not finish out the year.

I also need a parent to volunteer to stand in for me at the meeting if, for some reason, I can not make it.  This person would just have to do the set up and clean up that I normally do, I will have everything else ready.  This is just a precaution and I would appreciate the help.   If you have any questions please let me know.
