Kindergarten Supply List
The following items should be labeled with student's name:

• Backpack - large enough to fit an 8 1/2" x 11" pocket folder
  (No Wheels - there is not enough room to house them safely in our cubby area.)
• 2 Boxes primary crayons (Crayola classic colors - box of 8)
• 1 Fiskars brand rounded-tip scissors
• 1 Pencil box
• 2 Pocket folders

The following supplies do not need to be labeled with name:

• 10 Large glue sticks
• $15.00 for Scholastic Let's Find Out subscription, activity fee for the year, and to purchase soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes. Please make your check payable to Olney Elementary School.
  

If your child is a boy, send 1 box Kleenex/facial tissues & 1 box gallon size Ziploc bags.
If your child is a girl, send 1 box of Kleenex/facial tissues & 1 box sandwich size Ziploc bags.

First Grade Supply List

• Backpack (large enough to hold a 3 ring binder)
• Lunch Box
• 1 Pack Pencils (12, sharpened)
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 marbled composition book – 100 pages – lined (no spirals, please)
• 1 pocket folder for music class (Label with child's name)
• 2 Packs Crayons (8 crayons/pack)
• 2 Jumbo Glue Sticks (small sizes tend to dry up quickly)
• $2.00 for the purchase of durable homework folder
• $2.75 for National Geographic Magazine
  Please make check payable to Olney Elementary School in the amount of $4.75. Place checks in an envelope with your child's name on the front.

If your child is a boy, please send in the following items:

• 1 box of Zip Lock Baggies – Sandwich size
• 1 box of tissues

If your child is a girl, please send in the following items:

• 1 box of Zip Lock Baggies – Gallon or Quart size
• 1 bottle of Hand Sanitizer

Second Grade Supply List

• 1 -Standard School Box
• 1 - 12 pk of pencils
• Large eraser
• 4 Large Glue sticks
• Crayons - 24 pk
• 1 pair of scissors
• 3 marbled composition books - 100 pages - no spirals please
• 1 Large Box of Tissues
• 3 Pocket Folders (one is for music, 1 yellow for reading homework, 1 with brads for the classroom)
• $1.25 for Teacher/Parent Communicator
• $2.75 for National Geographic Magazine
  Please make checks for $4.00 payable to Olney Elementary School.

If your child is a boy, please send in 1 box (gallon size) Ziploc bags & 1 pack of paper plates.
If your child is a girl, please send in 1 box (sandwich size) Ziploc bags & 1 pump bottle of hand sanitizer.

Optional:

• One package of stickers with positive sayings
• 2 or 3 magazines, with pictures suitable for children to use in the classroom

Third Grade Supply List

Please label all supplies with your child's name.

• 4 marbled composition books -100 pages
• 8 Pocket folders (2 each: red, yellow, blue, green)
• 1 Box of crayons- 24 count
• 1 Box yellow (24 count) pencils, sharpened (collected on the first day)
• 1 Small liquid glue
• 2 Boxes of tissues
• 1 Hand sanitizer (no liquid soap)
• $6.00 for homework assignment book
  
• $2.75 for National Geographic Magazine.

Girls: one box of gallon size Ziploc bags

Fourth Grade Supply List

• 6 Sturdy pocket folders (one will be for music)
• 1 Pack wide-ruled writing paper
• 1 Bottle of glue or glue stick
• 3 Packs of #2 pencils
• 1 Pk. colored pencils or crayons
• 1 School box to keep supplies (hard box for inside desk)
• 4 Marbled composition books
• 1 Scissors
• 2 Regular size boxes of tissues
• 1 roll aluminum foil for Art class
• Ziploc bags or hand sanitizer
• $6.50 for homework assignment book
• $2.75 for National Geographic Magazine
  Please make check out to Olney Elementary School in the amount of $9.25.
  
  Send in any old children's magazines or books that can be donated to the classroom.

Fifth Grade Supply List

This is a general supply list for fifth grade. Individual teachers may add other items to this list at the beginning of the year.

• 3-ring loose-leaf binder with metal rings - 2" minimum (No Trapper Keepers or accordian files)
• Wide-ruled lined notebook paper
• 2 packs subject dividers (Please do not label these before school starts. We will do this together.)
• #2 pencils and erasers (always have a good supply on hand)
• 5 spiral single subject notebooks (100 pages minimum, no perforated pages)
• Protractor and compass to use at home
• Scissors
• Ruler (centimeters and inches)
• Crayons or colored pencils
• Blue and red pens
• Glue stick
• 2 boxes of tissues (to be shared with the class during the year)
• 5 pocket folders (1 will be for music)
• 1 pencil pouch
• 1 container of liquid soap
• 1 bar of soap for Art class
• $6.50 for homework assignment book
• $2.75 for National Geographic Magazine
