Mrs. Fields is a proud fourth grade teacher. She has taught both third and fourth grades here at Oakland Terrace for 13 years. Her goal as a teacher is to help kids discover and learn new things every day. “Math is my favorite subject to teach,” says Mrs. Fields. “I like it because it’s a puzzle and I like helping kids put together the pieces on their own”.
One thing she absolutely loves is to run into, or keep in touch with, past students to see what they have grow up to be. Mrs. Fields has taught over 350 students and she wishes that she could keep in touch with them all!
Something that you may have never known about Mrs. Fields is that she is daring. She went skydiving nine years ago in 2000. She thought it was “scary in a fun kind of way”.
Mrs. Fields lives in Rockville with her husband and two daughters who have helped her learn more about herself than anyone else has.
