About Oakland Terrace

Oakland Terrace Field Day 2007
Under the direction of Mr. Moxley, every spring, Oakland Terrace celebrates its field day. The day is fashioned after the Olympics, complete with Opening and Closing Ceremonies and an Olympic flame. Each classroom chooses a country to represent. Third through fifth grade compete together and Kindergarten through second grade compete. The upper grade students circulate to different events in which they use the PE skills they have learned throughout the years. The students collect points based on their performances in each event. Students also compete in a series of relay events to build teamwork. Take a look at the Field Day Festivities.
