Volume of Rectangular Prisms

Students in Ms. Kim's third grade class make rectangular prisms out of linker cubes. They determine the volume of the solids by counting the cubes. They represent the three dimensional solids in two dimensions using the isometric dot paper. Using different colored linker cubes makes it easier for students to draw. They only draw the faces and the edges that they can see.
