Students in Ms. Taylor's first grade class found different ways to make two dollars. They learned to trade dollars in for coins, and they learned strategies for counting money, such as using the quarter amounts. Students generated dozens of different ways to make two dollars.

dimes, quarters) with a value through one dollar.

currency through ten dollars.
