STUDENT AMBASSADORS

At Northwood, we believe that early orientation and preparation in the middle grades help foster achievement for ninth grade students and decrease low grades and discipline problems.  With a team of teacher advisors and student mentors (the Northwood Ambassadors), we hope to provide an environment of learning and success for students as they transition to high school.

To that end, the Northwood Ambassadors program is one an important initiative at Northwood that assists ninth grade students.  Through the collaboration of schools, we intend to ease the effects of the ninth grade experience by establishing programs and services to prepare eighth graders for the challenges of changing schools.
