If Northwood students read any three of the top ten Best Books recommended by the Maryland School Librarians Association (MASL) for 2009-2010, there is a special bonus. Students who read any three of the titles by April of 2010 will get invited to the big Pizza and Hot Fudge Sundae Party, where they can cast votes for which book they like the best. This is all part of the Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Award, which is the state award for Maryland, sponsored by MASL.
