Junior Varsity Cheerleaders
FORMS:
All of the required forms you need to tryout obtain a position on the squad are available for download and print on the Northwood Athletics Homepage. Please make sure you are in good standing with all of the forms.
REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be a member of the Cheerleading Squad ALL members must uphold and follow certain rules. One of which is regarding eligibility. All squad members must have, from the prior school year, and maintain a 2.0 GPA. This means only 1 E on your reports card in order to be and remain an active member of the squad.
UNIFORM:
Two sets of "Standard Uniforms" will be given to each cheerleader. You are responsible for maintaining and returning this uniform at the end of every season. Failure to do so will result in an obligation; this is just a cost to replace the uniform. You will be unable to graduate and/or get a report card until you return/repair the uniform or pay the obligation.
SUPPORT OF OTHER SPORTS:
Of course cheerleaders will be attending both Home and Away games for that specific season. In addition to this Cheerleaders will be supporting Poms at ALL MCPS sponsored events.
