Scenario

The Renaissance was a period of growth and change. This resulted in widespread changes to social, political, and economic systems. The Renaissance and Age of Exploration promoted innovation, reform, and discovery of new lands. To celebrate this period in history, we will have a Renaissance Ball to honor prominent people who have changed the world. At the Ball, you will have the opportunity to hear and meet these prominent figures and read thematic magazines dedicated to the social, political and economic discoveries of the time. All students will be graded individually on this project. All students will either present a poem on a Renaissance figure and write an ECR or create a magazine on one of the forces of change and write a ECR.
