The summer reading lists of "Books TOO Good to Miss" are always good places to look for a good title to read. The lists were compiled by the media center from current and classic titles that are fun or exciting reads.
The following are other books to be read as free reading. Check the AR List to see if the titles are included. Remember when looking up a title on the AR list to not include the The in the title.
Below are some of Mrs, Larson's recommended reading list for our older male students. These books are certainly enjoyed by females, but the lighter romance books have not been included. The following list (in no particular order) is made up of books that I have read and enjoyed, except for the last (Amulet) which was devoured and recommended by my non-reading teenage son. Some are on the young side, but are on my not to be missed while growing up list. A few are on an older level. Individual choice is important here. There are mysteries, science fiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, biographies, and combinations of all of them. Books with asterisks have developed into series.
