Attendance Procedures

Call 301-897-2265 to report an absence before 9:00 am the day of the absence
Upon return to school, have student bring an excuse note (which should include name, dates of absence, and reason) to the main office. (a form is included for your use)
An absence of 5 days or more requires a doctor's note upon return to school. The note should include the child's printed first and last name.
For an absence of 3 days or greater, homework may be requested by calling the counseling office at 301-897-2260

Early dismissals

Have the student drop off a note to the office upon entering the school on the day of the early dismissal. Note should include date, time, and reason. A pass will then be given to the student with instructions to report to the main office at the time of the dismissal
Parent must sign the student out in the main office
