GOOD MORNING NEELSVILLE KNIGHTS!

Today is Thursday, February 8, 2018

Welcome to Knights News 19.

Let’s start with the top news of the day:

Beyonce, Pink, and Admin-O-Stration will all be performing live at Neelsville’s Got Talent.   Wow, this event is shaping up to be quite a night.    There will even be a celebrity judge, from what we are told.  1 student, 1 parent, 1 celebrity, and 1 staff member.   Hmmm.   Did you purchase your tickets yet?

Attention 8th graders - if you are interested in attending a Historically Black College or University - known as an HBCU school - you should attend this college seminar specifically for 8th graders and their parents.  It will be held on February 9 at Einstein High School  from 6 - 7:30 pm.  Check out the Neelsville website for more information.

Hold up a second.   Neelsville’s Got Talent is on Friday, February 16th and tickets are almost sold out?   Are you kidding me?  It only went on sale yesterday.   I guess everyone wants to see the special performance by “Admin-O-Stration”.   From what I’m told, this will be their farewell performance.    For tickets, please see Mr. Schmid and Mr. Alhadeff.   Students MUST be accompanied by an adult to attend.

If you are performing in Neelsville’s Got Talent, please see Mr. Alhadeff or Mr. Schmid TODAY during your lunch period.  There will NOT be a practice session today.

Attention all Book Wars team members! Since we missed our meeting yesterday, please stop by the media center to update your book list and turn in your trivia questions.  We will try to have our next meeting next week.  Please listen to the announcements to find out when it will be rescheduled.

Pennies for Patients is still going on! Bring in your coins today and turn them in to your 8th period teacher. The eighth period that raises the most money, will receive a pizza party!

Today’s weather will be mostly sunny and breezy at times.  There is a zero percent chance of precipitation.  Temperatures will only reach the mid 30s.

Please remember to wish the following students a happy birthday:

Kaleb Du-Hills

Jennifer Rosales

Happy Birthday!!

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thanks for listening Knights and have a great weekend!
