Needwood Academy and Alternative Programs strive to provide the proper connection for our learners who have been disconnected in some way during their educational experiences in comprehensive schools.
Needwood Academy promotes a learner-centered environment that supports student achievement by encouraging regular attendance in a program that values and empowers students.
The program provides an education that connects with students' prior knowledge and the real world, encourages appropriate risk-taking, and facilitates acquisition of skills and behaviors of responsible members of a changing, diverse, and global society.
