Environmental Issues Project

Educational Purpose: To Review Multiple Perspectives on an Issue

Description: Sixth graders will choose an environmental issue related to the Chesapeake Bay that they are interested in. They will research the differing views on the issues and the various ways the issue can be resolved. Then they will create a PhotoStory slideshow highlighting the issue and the ways they believe would fix the problem.

Objectives: Students will be able to research different views about the environmental issues of the Chesapeake Bay using the Internet. Then they will create a public service announcement using Microsoft's PhotoStory 3 about the view they agree with.
