On Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13, students from Gillian Weinberg's Period 5 English 6 class will be reading their original children's adventure stories to third graders. Students in this class started the writing process by reading and studying published children's stories. They then created story maps, made a "mock up" rough draft, and went on to drafting their final product. Making illustrations was the final step. Students had a variety of creative ideas for their stories including racing in the Tour de France and being rescued from falling in the ice. Mrs. Weinberg is very proud of the hard work these students did. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Koenig, Mrs. Dingle, Ms. Sexton, Ms. Wong, and Ms. Uzupis for their help and support.
