Afterschool Achievers	Ms. Bowers & Ms. Durbin	Teacher identified students improve their reading, writing and/or mathematics skills and are provided the additional supports necessary to ensure success.	Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:30
Chess Club	Mr. Richmond	Participants learn the rules, strategies of the game, and are involved in tournament play. At the same time, they improve their critical thinking skills.	To Be Determined
Drama Club	Ms. Corrigan, Ms. Vicino	Students work on a musical presentation called Tall Tales and Heroes and they will present it on June 4th.	Tuesdays beginning on 10/27/09 from 3:30-4:30
Safety Patrols	Ms. Carr	Safety Patrols provide on-campus safety at major crosswalks and assist bus drivers. They assist the Bethesda Bus Depot with bus evacuation drills. During fire drills, the captain is the only person that assists the principal.	As needed
SGA	Ms. Mosley-Ramsey	The Student Government Association is made up of class representatives, grade level Vice Presidents, a Communications Manager, Co-Secretaries, and Co-Presidents. They meet once a week to develop activities that promote school spirit, community service, leadership and responsibility.	Tuesdays 12:10-12:40
Yearbook	Ms.Tinney	Students will help design the 2009-2010 yearbook.	Wednesdays at recess
