MCPS Curriculum Information

What are the HSAs?

Students taking Algebra will take an HSA, or High School Assessment.  The HSA is given in May, and students must pass the HSA in order to graduate from Montgomery County Public Schools.  Students who do not pass the HSA will be given re-teaching opportunities and will retake the test the following year.
