| Cabell Lloyd (Principal) was born on the eve of the 1950s and as a child was so deeply impressed by the popular educational philosophy of "Duck and Cover" that he was inexorably drawn into the field, first as a teacher and, later, as an administrator. His dedication to Meadow Hall, children, and caffeine is an example to us all.
PS - There seems to have been something about crouching under desks with blankets and hard candies during "Duck and Cover" drills that inspired a lot of kids. When those students grew up, so many of them became teachers that for years the US had more qualified teachers than the schools had jobs for them.
