Magruder Video Production students Garrett Black, Andrew Nardella, Jeremy Jacoby, Michael Lewis, Alex Mola and Lalita Vayavananda traveled to the on April 17, 2008 located in downtown Silver Spring, MD at the historic AFI Silver Theatre. The Green Krew's "Recycle Rap" was entered as the Magruder submission for the Live Action - Persuasive category. MVP took First Place in the competition. "Recycle Rap" received high-praise from the audience and festival officials that it will be aired on iTV's Montgomery County Channel 33-34 in the future. |

| Under the close supervision of photography teacher, Mrs. Seidenberg, the young ladies added to the Magruder victories at the competition with 68 schools submitting over 545 entries in live action and photographic categories. You can see more of these photographers' work on display and more at the 2008 Magruder Art Show, held May 20th and 21st this year. |
