The Science Academy is an academy of interest for students, grades 10-12, who have a strong interest or career interest in the science field. Students will be provided with the opportunity to enhance their high school experience with an enrichment program in the sciences.

Focus Areas:
Engineering/Physical Science or Biotechnology/Health Sciences

Program Goals:
1. To provide an enrichment activity for students interested in the science field.
2. To provide a rigorous program for students interested in a research
science career.
3. To provide an opportunity for students to compete in county, state and
national science competitions.
4. To provide an opportunity for students to showcase their science
achievements.

Admission Requirements:
1. Written Application
2. Demonstrated strength in math and science through grades
3. Teacher Recommendations
4. Willingness to complete a minimum of 6 science courses in grades 10-12
