The cost for tickets to athletic contests will remain at last year’s prices for the upcoming 2005-06 school year. The prices for all athletic contests will be $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students, and $1.00 for children ages 7-11. Children under the age of 7 are admitted free.
In an effort to reduce the out-of-pocket expenses of parents and students who attend frequent athletic events, MCPS has established a system wide standard price for season athletic passes. The athletic pass will be sold by the individual high school and will only allow the bearer whose name appears on the pass admission into home regular season athletic contests conducted by that school. The pass is not honored at away, countywide, regional, or state playoff games.
