Magruder wins MCPS Sportsmanship Award!
A History of Excellence: 8 County Titles, 6 MHS Tournament Championships, 3 Regional Championships, 2 State Finals Appearances and 5 MCPS Sportsmanship Awards
What's New on the Site? (updated 2/5/10)
-The Magruder varsity team capped off their outstanding 2009 season by winning an MCPS Sportmanship Award for girls volleyball. This is the fourth time the team has won the award in the last five years. Congratulations to all the players, parents, coaches and fans! (2/5/10)
-Magruder graduate (04) and Naval Academy graduate (08) Rachel Dougherty was recently named one of the top ten volleyball players of the past decade by the Gazette. Visit the media page for the links (1/7/10).
-Michelle Fowle (1st team All-Met) and Xioayi Li (Honorable Mention) were named to the Washington Post All-Met teams. The Post also named Michelle the Montgomery County Player of the Year and Brittany Skrutski as 1st team All-County. Congratulations to all three girls on a great accomplishment. -the annual Magruder Girls Volleyball Alumni game is being held on December 23rd at 6:30 at Magruder. Any alumni who played varsity volleyball during the history of Magruder volleyball is welcome to attend. Currently over 20 alumni are scheduled to attend. (12/17/09)
