Reference Book Circulation: Students may check out reference materials overnight to support a classroom project. These books may be checked out at the end of the day and must be returned the following morning. Students must speak to the Media Specialist or Media Assistant before checking out Reference books.
Lost and Damaged Books: There are no fines for overdue library materials. However, students are responsible for the books that are checked out from the Media Center, and they are obligated to pay for lost or damaged materials. Students’ overdue notices will be distributed to classroom teachers the first and third Mondays of the month. As the Media Center wants to ensure open access of materials to all students, students needing materials for school assignments can meet with the Media Specialist to make arrangements, if they have a lost or damaged book on record.
