Good evening this is Mr. Rubens calling from Lee MS with your weekly update for the week of November 2nd.

Tomorrow is a professional day for teachers.  There is no school for students. 

Tuesday marks the beginning of the second marking period.

The November edition of Lee Matters will be distributed to all students on Friday. 

We will begin collecting DCC choice forms from 8th grade students on Friday.  The deadline for choice forms to be turned in is Monday, November 9th.  Parents please note if a student does not turn in their choice form, there is a random placement procedure from the DCC office which does not guarantee or mandate home school placement.

We know this is a busy time for 8th graders and their parents as there has been a number of evening meetings and open houses taking place.  Parents, if you have any questions about the DCC high schools, Wheaton, Einstein, Blair, Northwood, or Kennedy,  Richard Montgomery’s IB program, Blair’s CAP program, Kennedy's LTI or IB program, or any of the signature program's at any of our high schools, please do not hesitate to give us a call.   

Finally, parents please mark your calendars.  Our "arena style" parent conferences and report card distribution is November 11th.  Please look for information regarding the November 11th conferences to come home with your child on Tuesday.  This information will also be posted to our website and on the PTSA list serve.
