Good evening this is Mr. Rubens calling from Lee Middle School with your weekly update.
The first day of school is tomorrow, Monday, August 30st. Students will meet in the cougar café and in the gymnasium when they arrive.  At 7:55am students will report to their homeroom classrooms where they will eat breakfast and go over some important school procedures. Students will then go to periods 1- 7. Students will be dismissed at 2:35 to find their buses, find their carpools or to begin their walk home. Please note the regular school day is 7:55am - 2:40pm. 

We will continue with students reporting to their homerooms at 7:55am through Thursday.  During homeroom, students will receive emergency contact forms that should be updated by parents/guardians.  This is very important information that needs to be returned to school as soon as possible.

The August/September edition of Lee Matters, our school Newsletter will be distributed to all students on Friday. 
Just a reminder…
Families who qualify for free or reduced price meals should file the paperwork as soon as possible. If students qualified for free or reduced price meals at the end of last year, they will still qualify during the first month of school, but must reapply for the program to continue in October.

Finally, please mark your calendars.  Back to School Night is Thursday, September, 17th at 7:00pm.
