This is my 12th year teaching at Lee and my 20th year in MCPS.
I
grew up in Takoma Park and graduated from High Point High School.
I have also lived in Ohio, Florida, and Alabama. When I was not
teaching Spanish, I worked in the Personnel Office of the University of
Miami and also as a pre-school teacher.
My husband works for
FDA. I have 3 grown children, all of whom graduated from
Springbrook High School. My son and his wife are currently
working in a refugee camp in Zambia. My older daughter is an
epidemiologist working on border health issues in El Paso, Texas.
My youngest is a senior at American University, majoring in journalism.
In my free time, I like to travel, read, and watch movies and the Red Sox. |
