I
have worked for Montgomery County Public Schools
for eleven years, and six at Col. E.
Brooke Lee Middle School. I have enjoyed working as an
educator for over
twenty five years. As a teacher, I have taught grades
pre-kindergarten to
university level. I have enjoyed all levels of teaching, but
find middle
school to be my favorite level to teach.
I
am a native New Yorker and graduated from Adelphi
University
and State University of New
York College at Old Westbury with a Master Degree in Reading
and Bachelors in Early Childhood and
Elementary Education, respectfully. After relocating to this
area, I
completed a certificate program in Organization and Administration from
McDaniel
College.
I
come from a family of doctors and educators and I chose to become an
educator
because I wanted to teach and advise others to prepare them for the
future. Throughout my teaching tenure, I have enjoyed meeting
and working
with the best and the brightest and have found students at Lee to be
just that!
I
enjoy living in the Washington
D.C.
metropolitan area, but I am still an avid New York
sports fan. In addition, I
have also enjoyed coaching in area league basketball and baseball
teams,
participating in public radio broadcast, and publishing educational
articles.
