I
have been a teacher at E. Brooke Lee since 1999. I love teaching
science in 6th grade because 6th graders are so curious, and the most
important thing about being a scientist is curiosity. I also like 6th
grade because of Outdoor Education, and the great opportunity it brings
for learning about the environment outside of our school.
I
spend a lot of my free time outdoors. I like mountain biking,
whitewater kayaking, skiing, and just about anything else where you go
fast and have to wear a helmet. Don’t be too concerned if I show up for
class bruised, bashed, or scratched up. That is just a sign that I have
been outdoors having fun again.
