My name is Ms. McHugh and I’m an
ESOL teacher at E. Brooke Lee Middle School. It is my first year
teaching at E. Brooke Lee and I’m excited to get the year started. I
did my student teaching in Montgomery County as well as some substitute
teaching.
I’m from Buffalo, NY, but have
lived all over the world. I graduated from Lake Forest College in
Chicago, IL. I also spent a semester at the University of Hawaii. After
college I taught English in Ecuador and Vietnam for four months with
the Global Volunteer Network. Following those adventures I was in the
Peace Corps in Macedonia.
When I’m not teaching I will
probably be studying for my classes at The George Washington
University. I have one year left until I will receive my master’s
degree. I also love to play soccer, read, run and support the Buffalo
Sabres!
