Isabella
Grimann is a Cuban/Catalonian born artist/art educator. Received her
Masters in Art and ESOL Education from Florida International University
She earned her Bachelor Degree from The School of the Art Institute of
Chicago where she studied Fashion Designing and painting. Attended the
Miami Dade Community College where she earned her Associates Science
Degree. Mrs. Grimann has many accomplishments as a professional
exhibiting artist includes, shows at The School of the Art Institute of
Chicago, John Hancock Gallery, the Homestead Center for the Arts. She
received recognition by the Enclave Design group. She has been awarded
by The County Executive of Montgomery County, Maryland for her
leadership and guidance in the 2008 Understanding Diversity through the
Arts program. She was awarded by Fendi for best Designs, Chicago
Drapery Association. She was awarded for an art holographic
presentation addressing the Kiwanis Club of North Shore, Illinois. As
an art educator she also worked for the International School of Zug in
Switzerland. Taught the arts, and dance in the Miami Dade county public
school system. Mrs. Grimann worked as a show room fashion model for
B.J. Apparel, and Ring-Ga-Lee-Veeo. Worked along fashion designers;
Kanae (Chicago), Daniel D’Hiver (Miami), and Lillie Rubin (New York).
For five years she performed as a professional classical ballet dancer
for Chicago. She is an eleven year conservatory pianist. Mrs. Grimann
is a master teacher. She has been an art instructor, for the public
school system for over 13 years. She is an active member and Alumni of
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
