Montgomery County Public Schools Launches Campaign to Raise Funds for Students Affected by Hurricane Harvey

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), in partnership with the Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation, Inc., has launched the Hurricane Harvey Relief campaign to raise funds for students and families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

“We must support all children and help each other in times of crisis,” said Superintendent Jack R. Smith. “MCPS is committed to supporting the victims of Hurricane Harvey.”

The district’s goal is to raise at least $163,000 to support school districts in Texas that were affected by Hurricane Harvey. The campaign kicked off on September 7, 2017 and will conclude on October 2, 2017.

MCPS families and community members can support the campaign by submitting donations to their local school or to the Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation, Inc. All donations collected by the Foundation will go to a corresponding Texas educational foundation.
