At Lakelands Park Middle School, our comprehensive professional development plan is created and delivered collaboratively based upon student data and student needs.  Attached is our 2009-2010 professional development plan.  Please keep in mind that this is a working document, constantly changing to fit the needs of our school.  Please contact the staff development teacher, Kirsten Corprew, with any questions.

The mission of the staff development teacher is to foster a professional learning community and to support her local school organization as they implement the MCPS system initiatives described in our Call to Action.

High quality staff development exists in every school with teachers working collaboratively to set goals and refine and expand practices that improve learning for all students.
