About the Program
Welcome to the Technology Program at Montgomery Knolls Elementary! Our students explore a wide variety of software and web resources that complement classroom instruction. They participate in technology projects and activities to support grade level indicators. Each classroom has an Promethean Board and 4 student computer work stations to provide hands on interactive learning. The purpose of our program is to integrate technology into curriculum and provide students with the technology skills they will need for future success.
Our Technology Center has a Promethean Board and 29 student workstations. Curriculum content is the major focus of all technology activities. Skills that the students learn in the Tech Center can then be used in the classroom.
The Tech Center is also used for staff training. Technology workshops are offered to staff members throughout the year.
The Internet provides students with many opportunities for learning. Our students use websites to read for information, gain literacy and numeracy skills, use online math manipulatives and much more! Check out the Web Resources link!
