Miss Regina's class culminated their commemoration of Native American Month by learning about Betty Mae Jumper who was the first woman tribal leader of the Seminoles. They ate Pumpkin Bread made from a Recipe in a Seminole Cookbook and made Seminole Corn Cob dolls similar to the ones Betty Mae made to sell to the tourists.
