Good Evening Kingsview Families,
This is Mrs. Thomas and Camille Thomas, my daughter, with our
weekly callout.
I first want to thank everyone who came to support the Kingsview
staff as we played Lakelands park on Friday, it was such a fun
night out and a great community builder. The gym was packed as
we played basketball and raised money for needy families in our
community. Unfortunately, Kingsview lost by 5 but it was a hard
fought game with lots of laughs and good times. We look forward
to hosting this event next year at the view!
This week we continue with the girls and boys basketball tryouts
on Tuesday.
The National Junior Honor Society turkey feather fundraiser ends
on Tuesday. Who will wear the turkey feathers on Wednesday? Will
it be me, Mr. Bencal and or Mrs. Singleton? Wait to see!
On Wednesday, we have a 1/2 day for students. Students are
dismissed at 12:10 and there are no afterschool activities.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to share
how grateful I am
for all that our staff, parents, and community do to support the
overall functioning of our
school. Your commitment and involvement has a profound impact on
the lives of our
students. Best wishes to you and yours as we enter the holiday
season. Thank you for
the gifts you share with your children and the students at
Kingsview.
I leave you with a quote:
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the
highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
-John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Have a great evening,
Happy Thanksgiving |
