Meeting Days:
Thursdays
Meeting Times:
Lunch
Place:
Room 260
Description:

The Kennedy Gamers' Club was created during the 2005-2006 school year. Its primary purpose was to be a way for students to relax mid-day through their regular classes during the day. It is the reason why I decided to make the meetings during lunch. The club does not talk about creating video games as some may believe, but rather we play video games in school for fun. Members get to play against each other in friendly competitions in games such as Halo 2, Burnout Revenge, Fight Night: Round 3, and even Madden! When I created this club I realized that I had become extremely busy at home and at school. I did not have time to play all my great games as I once did and became a little stressed out. I realized that I must not be the only student like this so a group of friends assisted me in creating a club to give students more time to do homework and play their games. Everyone in the club hopes to expand to higher levels of gaming; this includes a larger room for more members, funds to purchase new games and consoles (such as the Playstation 3, and Xbox 360) for exclusive use by the Kennedy Gamers' Club, and to go to tournaments being held nation wide.
