Purpose
Kennedy's Media Program is essential to student learning and achievement and is integral to the entire educational process. It provides all students and staff members with equitable and timely access to ideas and information in a variety of formats.
Through a collaborative integrated instructional program, the media specialist and classroom teachers will empower students to be effective users of ideas and information. By helping students acquire information literacy skills, which are essential to mastering curricular content, critical thinking, and problem solving - the media program supports lifelong reading and learning.
