Prospective Students

Step One

  • Complete the application for the program and submit it to Mrs. Johnson.
  • As a junior, register for Internship on your course selection card.
  • As a rising senior, attend the end of the year Orientation sessions with Mrs. Johnson.
    • Share with your parents the date of the Parent Information Meeting
    • Develop a Resume and submit it to Mrs. Johnson
    Step Two
    • Make corrections to your resume rough draft and re-submit it to Mrs. Johnson.
    • Research the career field you have chosen and list the name, address and phone number of five sites you would like to intern with and can easily reach by car or public transportation.
    Step Three
    • Wait for Mrs. Johnson to contact you with an interview date or acceptance letter for the desired site.
    Step Four
    • Complete the required Memorandum of Understanding the first week of your senior year.
    • Start your Internship as a professional
    • Sign out with Mrs. Johnson everyday prior to leaving school grounds.
    • Attend Seminars weekly and turn in required time sheets and journals.
    • Once your placement has been made you are committed to that site for the Semester, please choose wisely.
