Expectations
Time Sheets
Students are responsible for submitting a weekly time sheet at each seminar
signed by their sponsor. The time sheets confirm the hours per week the
student has spent at their site.
Weekly Journals
Students are responsible for keeping a weekly journal in which daily new
experiences are recorded and analyzed based on questions posed by Mrs.
Johnson.
Weekly Seminars
Student must attend an in-school weekly seminar with fellow students and
Mrs. Johnson. Guest speakers are invited to attend the seminar in order to
inspire and share their work experiences with the class. Seminar classes are
held every Monday or Tuesday and are counted as one required internship hour.
If there is no school on the seminar Monday due to school cancellation, then
no seminar will be held for that week. If there is no school on the seminar
Monday due to a school holiday, then the seminar will be held on Tuesday. Failing to attend seminars will result in being marked absent and the LC
policy will be enforced.

Sponsor’s Evaluation
Interns are responsible for taking the quarter evaluation to their sponsor
and reminding them to fax it to Mrs. Johnson on or before the stated due
date. This is very important since the evaluation is worth 50% of the
intern’s grade.
Dress Code
Proper behavior and attire at your site is one of the fundamental basics in
creating a good impression as your begin your professional network. Mrs.
Johnson will schedule a site visit in order to make sure the sponsor is
pleased with your working performance and to gain a better understanding of
your career objectives. All comments made are shared with the intern during
a confidential conference held in Mrs. Johnson’s office.
Attendance
It
is the responsibility of the student to directly contact the internship
sponsor if they are ill and cannot attend the site on a particular day. In
addition, the student needs to indicate the absence on the required time
sheet and bring a note excusing the absence to the school attendance
office.
Sign Out
Finally, the interns must sign-out every day by signing the attendance sheet
Mrs. Johnson will provide for accounting purposes. Failing to do so will
result in being marked as absent that day.
